Taiwan Province Revises Naming and Labeling Requirements for Edible Animal Milk Products and Restricts the Use of the Term "Fresh Milk"
The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare issued an announcement on 3 June 2025 revising the Regulations Governing the Naming and Labeling of Fresh Milk, Long-life Milk, Flavored Milk, Milk Beverages and Milk Powder, which have been renamed as the Regulations Governing the Naming and Labeling of Edible Animal Milk, Long-life Milk, Flavored Milk, Milk Beverages and Milk Powder. The amendments are intended to improve labeling transparency and establish clearer conditions for the use of the term "Fresh Milk."
